Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that his government would make constructive utilization of the services of ex-Servicemen in the development of the State.
Das told Lieutenant General (Retd) Gyanbhushan, who called on him, that the State Government would consider setting up an ex-Servicemen corporation to involve them in development activities.
Lt. Gen. Gyanbhushan apprised Das with the ongoing welfare activities for ex-Servicemen and added that there were about 70,000 ex-servicemen in Jharkhand State.
Das assured Lt. Gen. Gyanbhushan that he would take up the matter related to schemes for ex-Servicemen in the next financial year and hold detail discussion after the budget session.
