Kishore Mantri Travels start operating bus service in Ranchi

10RanCityBus1Ranchi saw the private operator of Ranchi Municipal Corporation launching the city bus services today.

Though it was slated to be launched on April 1,the private operator took over a month to launch the service mainly because it had not been supplied with any bust by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation.

Now,it was handed over 10 buses,it is learnt.”The rest buses will be given to us latter”,said the operator.

In any case,the operator Kishore Mantri Travels(KMT) has promised to improve the quality of service to passengers in Jharkhand capital.”We are committed to improve travelling experience for every single penny paid by passengers”,said KMT owner Kishore Mantri.

The municipal body had selected KMT to operate city bus service.In the past the the city buses were run by Jhakhand Tourism Development Corporation.

Now,with KMT in,this company is to take over the reins of the service that is provided under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). The KMT is supposed to pay Rs138.50 per bus to RMC as quoted by it in the bid document.

“Everything has been finalised and we are going to satisfy the customers in ranchi”,said Mantri.’We have already prepared a road map to deliver better services to the commuters.”
