A day after pronouncing sentence to 45 accused in 950 crore fodder scam case,CBI’s special court,Ranchi, Judge PK Singh has been promoted and posted as Principal Judge,Family Court , Gumla.
Family court deliberates upon cases connected with domestic violence and dowry.Judge Singh had disposed off the fodder scam’s central case-RC 20/96-involving 45 accused including two former Bihar Chief Ministers-Lalu Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra by holding them guilty.He had also sentenced Yadav to five –year jail term and imposed a fine of Rs 25 lakh on Thursday.
Now,Judge Singh is reported to take charge of his new assignment on November 1.
