Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren has lambasted the BJP for relying on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing victory in the Assembly election.
“PM Modi is saying that his party should get an opportunity to develop Jharkhand. I wish to ask if the people of Jharkhand were in need, Modiji will come from New Delhi.Or Narendra Modi will leave the seat of the Prime Minister and occupy the seat of the Chief Minister”, said Hemant while addressing an election rally in Jamshedpur on Tuesday.
Soren who appealed to people to vote for the JMM candidate Upendra Singh in Jamshedpur, alleged that the root of corruption was laid by the BJP in Jharkhand. “All scams surfaced during the rule of the BJP. Alkatra Ghotala, Sadak Ghotala, Khel Gaon Ghotala and Khan Ghotala. There is no scam free from the BJP”, said Soren.
During the Assembly election, BJP lacked a face keeping whom in front it can contest the poll, said Soren.
Alongside his father and JMM president Shibu Soren, who addressed an election rally at Rocket Maidan at Jatia under Nawamundi police station in Jaganathpur Assembly constituency on Tuesday, said : Villages can be developed only when the Government of India will be compelled to accept what Jharkhand speaks”, said Shibu Soren promising to make forest produce and mineraly rich Jharkhand as ‘number one state in India’.
