Jharkhand to introduce scheme for unorganised sector workers

The state government is set to issue a scheme for workers who fall under the category of ‘unorganised.’

For the unorganised sector workers,the state government will introduce “Jharkhand Unorganised Karmkar Samajik Suraksha Yojna,said Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

The move is to make use of the National Social Security Fund for workers in the unorganised sector.Through the Labour Department starting the project,workers in the age group of 18-59 can benefit from it.

For instance,if the labour of this age group dies,his/her family will get compensation of Rs one lakh;in case of turning disable, the beneficiary will get Rs 75,000;in case of facing partial disability the beneficiary will get Rs 37,500;and in case of natural death,the beneficiary would get Rs 30,000.

Under the scheme,the children of the affected victim are to get scholarship and medical expenditure for serious diseases.The scheme is to be implemented at the ddistrict level through Development Commissioner.
