The 22nd Asian Athletics Championship will be held in Jharkhand in 2017.
The announcement has been made by Sports Minister Amar Bauri who claimed that this major opportunity has come as an honour for the state.
The Minister also mentioned that the authorities have got into the mode of making preparations for the event.
Bauri also hoped that Jharkhand athletes would give better performance in the 22nd Asian Athletics Championship.
