Jharkhand Rural Development Department today held a review meeting in Ranchi with Deputy Development Commissioners.
The subject of discussion revolved around MNREGA,National Rural Livelihood Mission,Water Harvesting and Indira Awas.The meeting was addressed among others by Department’s Principal Secretary NN Sinha,Special Secretary Paritosh Upadhaya,Joint Secretary Janmayjay Thakur and Deputy Secretary SP Sinha.
In the meeting DDCs were given many directives including :
1.Ensure that no body remained free from gaining benefit from any scheme.
2.To increase the income of the people living below the poverty line,provide them,works connected with construction of well,plantation and pond.If the person living below the poverty line is a farmer,he can work for poultry farm in addition to run a shop.
3.All villagers,who remained deprived of houses,can benefit from the coming Rural Housing Mission.
4.Building bricks should be taken on MNREGA so that quality bricks can be sold.
5.Reform the labour budget in the district where the outlay toward this end was low.
6.Appoint BPO where this post was lying vacant.
7.Take work in accordance with the requirement of the people.
8.In those houses where toilets were broken,new toilet be built.
9.Build goat shed so that the goats can be shaved from the disease.
