India’s largest trade exhibition IITF came to an end today. The Number of visitors today exceeded 1 lakh. Jharkhand Pavilion also witnessed a huge rush of crowd. Besides collecting information the visitors also took advantage of the discounts that was being offered to brisk buying.
On this last day the visitors flocked in the stalls of Jharkhand Tourism, Schemes and Technology. They collected all the information related to the Jharkhand Tourism and some of them even made up their mind to visit Jharkhand.
Pavilion Director D. K. Sharma said that the total sale in the Jharkhand Pavilion was around RS. 34 Lacs With Jharkraft accounting for 14 Lacs of the total sale. He also said that next year Jharkhand Pavilion will come up with more products and events.
Sharma also Distributed certificates to the participants and acknowledged everyone’s important contribution to the Jhrakhand Pavilion. In this segment in handicraft sector first prize winner was Sabar Primitive Tribal group, Second Prize Winner was Matigram and Third Prize winner was Smt. Kamini Kumari and in Govt. Sector first prize winner was Co-operative Department, Second Prize Winner was Jharkraft and Third Prize winner was Ranchi Industrial Area Development Authority and in Private Sector first prize winner was Steel Authority of India, Second Prize Winner was Heavy Engineering corporation Ltd. and Third Prize winner was Tata steels Ltd.
The IPRD Stall at the pavilion was also nerve centre of activities. The visitors flocked to the stall asking questions and gathering information about Jharkhand. The IPRD stall played a very pivotal role in increasing the visitor’s awareness of Jharkhand and made available every possible information sought by visitors.
