Jharkhand may get a new CM from BJP

With the BJP and its allies-All Jharkhand Students Union and Lok Janshakti Party-gaining majority of seats in Jharkhand,the stage is set for its leaders to pick up right candidate for the post of Chief Minister.

Though the decision to select the new CM is likely to be decided by the BJP’s Parliamentary board led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi,its some workers believe that since their party and its allies had gained majority,the post of CM will be filled up by a tribal.

The names doing the rounds for the top post is Shiv Shankar Oraon.Himself a student from Jawahar Lal Nehru University,Oraon,who has defeated Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Bhushan Tirkey in Gumla,was linked with RSS(Rashtriya Swayam Sevak).Another tribal leader whose name figures for the top post is Union Minister of State Sudarshan Bhagat.

In case,the party decides to appoint any non tribal as the CM,two names doing the rounds in the corridors of the BJP in Ranchi are Raghwar Das,ex Deputy CM,and Sarayu Roy.
