Jharkhand is likely to get Rs 5,260 crore from the Finance Commission, said Chief Minister Raghubar Das after attending a NITI Aayog meeting in Delhi .
No changes has been made in any of the schemes including Mgnrega, remuneration to anganwadi and health workers.
The money will be given to the state in installments. A draft report prepared by the panel has suggested that centrally-sponsored schemes should be divided into two broad groups – core scheme and optional scheme.
“The panel has included law and order and justice delivery in the core scheme,” said Das. Jharkhand had pleaded that because law and order is the crucial prerequisite for development, the panel should include law and order in the core scheme, added the Chief Minister.
For core schemes, the Centre and the state would share funding in the ratio of 60:40 and for optional scheme the share would be 50:50, a government report said.
