Jharkhand IPRD organises quiz competition in New Delhi

The 34th India International Trade Fair (IITF) New Delhi today witnessed a huge rush of crowd. People thronged different Pavilions including that of Jharkhand. The Information & Public Relations Department stall at Jharkhand pavilion also buzzed with activities. The IPRD organized a quiz competition on Jharkhand in which students of a school participated. The winner was presented with the momento by the officer of the IPRD.

The students also asked questions on Jharkhand particularly it’s mineral wealth, tourist spots etc. They also enquired about Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Deepika Kumari and also wanted to know wither they would ever be able to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Jharkhand Pavilion in future. The entire questions were satisfactory answered by the officer of the IPRD.

The statue of the Birsa Munda at the pavilion is also proving to be a crowd puller. Cast in clay, having a lustre polish is giving the impression of a bronze image. The visitors are making their moments memorable by getting themselves snapped with the statue of the Birsa Munda.

In tune with the theme of the IITF this year that is “women entrepreneurship”, the pavilion has also displayed the names of the women entrepreneurship of the state. The pavilion director D. K Sharma said that all the efforts have been made to showcase the works of women entrepreneurs of the state.
