Jharkhand High Court has adjourned the hearing on Lalu Prasad Yadav’s petition seeking bail.
Justice RR Prasad today heard both the counsels representing the prosecution and the petitioner and posted the hearing of the case on Wednesday.
While the arguments on behalf of CBI was put forth by its lawyer,Lalu,a convict who is in jail facing five years of rigorous imprisonment in Birsa Munda jail in Ranchi in a fodder scam case(RC-20/96),was defended by Jabalpur based lawyer Rajendra Singh.
The High Court began hearing on Lalu’s bail petition after requisitioning all records of the case.In fact,15 boxes containing these records of the RC 20/96 case were sent to the High Court by the CBI court on Thursday.
