
Jharkhand financial scene shows improvement,says Principal Secretary(Finance) Amit Khare.
In a statement,Khare said,the expenditure of both plan and non plan has increased in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2015-16 in comparision to the same period past year 2014-15.”It is a positive sign”,he said.
Khare informed that during April-July this year,Rs 9803.14 crore was spent in plan and non plan heads.Under the plan head,Rs 4568.83 crore(that is 14.22 percent)was spent whereas Rs 5234.31 crore(that is 22.41 percent)was spent under the non plan head during the same period.
At the same time,Rs 3866.60 crore was collected as tax by the state government’s different departments during the past three months during April- 1 -July31,said Khare.
