Jharkhand Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma on Monday reviewed the works being carried in the state under the Union government’s scheme-National Rural Livlihood Mission.
During the review meeting linked with a video conferencing,the CS directed the DPM/SPM/POs that the state government plans to spend Rs 25 crore on ‘Fishing Net’ during the current fiscal-2016-17.
The CS informed that all Block offices will carry canteens,each run by an Non Government Organisation(NGO).She also informed them that members of Self Help Group will become MNREGA Met.
“There is a need to lay emphasis on agriculture,health,education and skill development in villages”,said the CS adding that it is responsibility of the state administration to expedite and implement development schemes at ground zero.
