On the eve of the Independence Day,Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu,who is slated to unfurl the national flag in Dumka on August 15,2015,today participated in a programme organised to celebrate ‘World Tribal Day’ inside the indoor stadium at Dumka.
Addressing the programme as Chief Guest,she said that tribals should get development in accordance with their rich tradition and a sense of pride.
“The government should provide the rights to the tribal community as per the directives of the Constitution so that they can get benefits of the development programmes”,Murmu said.
“The development of tribals lies in the effort of development initiated with a sense of “Sabka Saath;Sabka Vikas”(Every One’s Support;Every one’s Development),she said.
