Sumitra Marandi,who is international football player,was selected for the FIFA Grassroots Course.
Marandi,a tribal footbal player from Jharkhand,who is one among 21 football players selected in India for FIFA Grassroots Course,represents Sports Authority of India,Ranchi region.
She had played many under 18 Internation World Cup School football tournament.
The FIFA Grassroots programme is aimed at children aged between 6 and 12. The focus is not on intensive training, but on playing football for fun and exercise. The aim is to promote football for all.
