Jharkhand figures as a hot spot for foreign tourists

Believe it or not, around 2.3 crore foreign tourists arrived in India in 2015.

Notably, 44 percent foreign tourists had visited Jharkahd during 2015-16 wnen Bihar and Hariyana were visited by 27 percent and 16.1 percent foreign tourists respectively, according to the data provided by Ministry of Tourism and published by timesofindia.indiatimes.com.

The lowest in the list of states was Madhya Pradesh where 8.5 percent foreign tourists during the same period,according to the same source.
