Jharkhand Development Council to be set up in May

Jharkhand-Chief-Minister-Raghubar-Das-002Chief Minister Raghubar Das has said that by the fist week of May Jharkhand Development Council will be set up which would prepare development model for the state.

The council will have term of five years and begin work on budget and plans from September, he added.
The Chief Minister would head the council with his cabinet colleagues, MPs from the state, experts on planning, finance and public administration, intellectuals and non-government organisations would be members of the council, Das said.

In his budget speech he had announced setting up of the council to ensure maximum participation of the people in the state’s development.
