Sukhdev Singh was tonight appointed Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Singh,an IAS officer of 1987 batch,whose appointment was made by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren,will continue to hold additional charges of Finance and National Savings.
Incidentally,Singh,an upright officer, had served two Chief Ministers-Madhu Koda and Shibu Soren-in the same capacity.Even when Hemant held the post of Deputy Chief Minister in the Arjun Munda government with the portfolio of Finance,Singh was Principal Secretary(Finance).
The notification of his appointment was issued tonight by the state Personnel Department’s Akhilesh Kumar Vajpayee.
