Sanjay Kumar today directed different department representatives to solve public issues in the set time frame and update their system of public grievances redressal.

Kumar addressed the Nodal Officers through video conference while reviewing the public complaints received through Telephone Number 181 under the state government’s scheme-Jan Samvad.He observed that jan Samvad is imporatant scheme and it is on top priority of the Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

He was addressing them at the Suchna Bhawan in Ranchi.He
asked the Nodal officers to use simple processes in departments for timely solution of people’s problems. He also directed them not to waste time unnecessarily in waiting for approval from higher authorities in smaller issues. It was decided that review of pending and solved grievances will be done every week.
Addressing the Nodal Officer of Bokaro,Kumar directed him to resolve 75 complaints recorded from Chandrapura Block and said that if this was not done within a week,action will be taken against the Block Development Officer.

AS is is,during May 1-July 13,12312 complaints were recorded under Jan Sambad scheme.Among them,475 were connected with corruption,514 and 4138 were ‘accelrated’ and ‘day-today’ complaints and 2897 were connected with the plan.In addition,4288 were ‘advice’and ‘complaints’ that were being reviewed,said Kumar.
