The Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and Australian varsity will have student exchange programmes.
An Australian official has said that as part of an exchange programme for undergraduate, graduate, faculty members and research fellows, ISM, Dhanbad, will soon sign a memorandum of understanding with Newcastle University in Australia.
Stuart Rees, Trade Commissioner (acting), Australian Trade Commission and mentor, Mining and Energy Team, South Asia gave this information while speaking on the sidelines of an interactive session organised by CII Eastern Region in Dhanbad.
He also said the agreement will focus on cutting-edge technologies in open-cast mining.
