Union Rural Development Minister Choudhary Birendra Singh today said top industrial houses are now more sensitive toward poverty eradication programmes.
“…Today I saw their body language and found them to be sensitive for the under-privileged people. The speakers from the industry appeared sincere to do something for Jharkhand and the country,” the Union Minister said in Ranchi.
He was addressing at a function organised by the Union Rural Development Ministry and the Jharkhand government and the CII.
“Sensitiveness is a big thing,” Singh said. He also said that the central government was planning to provide specialized skills to rural job guarantee workers and would soon notify guidelines on imparting special skills to disabled youth.
