The Indian Men Team having reached France and are practicing hard ahead of the first match of the Europe Tour where they will play against France and Spain. The series is in preparation for the upcoming FIH Hockey World League Final, to be held in India later this year wherein India will be seen clashing twice against France and thrice against Spain during the Tour.
Speaking on the tour, Ramandeep Singh stated, “France is a tough team and they have proved that in our last clashed. But we have our strategy ready against them. The target for our match against them is to keep a good possession on the ball and score and not allow opportunities to go a waste. With SV Sunil back in the team it automatically strengthens our front line where now I think the opponents will have to find ways of stopping us. While the attack has to be maintained we even have to earn the crucial penalty corners”.
India will be playing their first match on 3rd August 2015 against France and will be played at 21.30 IST.
