Intelligence Bureau(IB) is expected to provide active services to contain Left Wing Extremism(LWE) in Jharkhand.
An indication toward this end became public after IB’ Director BD Sharma met Chief Minister Raghubar Das inside his official residence in Ranchi today.During the meeting,they reportedly discussed issues connected with the law and order and LWE.
Das said that apart from security measures,development of the area was essential to control left wing extremism.”In all the districts of the State,many programmes were conducted to link the youths with skill development”,he said.
“The skill development programme was being carried in the form of a drive in LWE affected areas”,said Das adding that several companies-both public and private-were carrying skill development programmes.
“The skill development programmes will be carried more agressively”,he said.sExpressing his view,Sharma said IB will do its job actively
