An air service from Ranchi to Deoghar and back will be introduced by the Jharkhand Tourism department.Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is going to kick start the inaugural flight on Sunday.
The flight will facilitate the Kanwarias-Shiva devotees to fly from Ranchi, land at Deoghar ,offer premier puja at the sacred Shiva temple there and return to Ranchi the same day.During the day long air journey,refreshment and transportation from airport to Mandir sthal in Deoghar will be provided by the department.The cost per passenger was Rs 14,999.
Though this air service was slated to commence on July 23,it failed to do so due to lukewarm response from among the Kanwarias.Since the response was not overwhelming,the service was slated for four days.
