JMM leader Hemant Soren took oath as ninth Chief Minister of Jharkhand this morning at 9.30 A.M. His two other allies-Congress’s Rajendra Prasad Singh and RJD’s Annapurna Devi also took oath as Ministers.
They were administered oath by Governor Syed Ahmad in a ceremonial function organized inside the Raj Bhawan in Ranchi at Birsa Mandap. A number of guests including Soren’s father and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha President Shibu Soren,mother Rupi and wife Kalpana graced the occasion.
“The governance is now in the hands of the youth. Every where change will be visible.The state will march ahead on the path of development speedily.A Common Minimum Programme will be prepared.The views of every supporting party will be incorporated into it. The government will be run on the basis of this.The Cabinet will be expanded soon’,said Hemant.
