Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today filed nomination as party’s candidate in his Assembly constituency-Dumka- and addressed an election rally there.
Claiming that he and his party was committed to the cause of Jal, Jangal Jamin meant for the Adivasi and Mul Vasi(tribals and original residents), Soren blamed the BJP as a party of the capitalists and said that though it had won the Lok Sabha poll by promising to end the price hike, it had failed to do so.
“During the Lok Sabha poll, the potato was sold at Rs ten a KG. Today, it was selling at Rs 28-30 per KG. Has the price come down”, he asked as the audience comprising tribals laughed in his support.
Soren told the people that if the BJP won the Assembly poll, its leaders will sale their land to capitalists from Gujarat. Dumka was represented in the state Assembly by Soren since 2009.
