An oath taking ceremony was held at the Heavy Engineering Corporation office on Monday to mark the launch of “Vigilance Awareness Week”.
The staff of the PSU were administered pledge to maintain integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities and to work for eradication of corruption,growth and to instill a sense of pride and commitment towards the company.
The pledge was administered by HEC’s Chief Vigilance Officer Ravindra Verma.The pledge taking function was also attended among others by the company’s Director(Personnel)S Banerjee and Director(Marketing)A.V. Krishna.
Similar pledge taking function was also held at company’s three units-Foundry Forge Plant, Heavy Machine Building Plant,Heavy Machine Tools Plant and Hospital.
A debate competition was organized at Foundry Forge Plant on the topic “Eradication of Corruption from PSUs – in the context of HEC Limited”. Officers of Foundry Forge Plant actively participated in it.The competition was held in presence of Verma,S.K. Saxena, GM/FFP, B.K. Nayak, SDGM (Vig.) and Ramjee,Sr. Manager (P&A).
