To mark the conclusion of “Vigilance Awareness Week”,a valedictory function was held today at HEC auditorium.
The function presided over by HEC CMD R Misra was attended among others by Guests of Honour, Kushal Saha and S. Banerjee, Director (Pers.), A.V. Krishna, Director (Mktg.) and Ravindra Verma,Chief Vigilance Offcer,said a press release issued by HEC’s PRO Hemant Gupta.
“Annual vigilance report regarding activities of Vigilance Department of HEC was presented by Verma”,said Gupta in his communiqué.
During the Vigilance Awareness Week (October 29-November 3) debate competitions on “Eradication of Corruption from PSUs – in the context of HEC Ltd” were held at all the plants and units of the company and an in-house Journal “SPARK”, containing vigilance circulars,was released by Misra.
Prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries to the winners of the participants. Special prizes were also given to five officers of the company for actively participating in Vigilance Activities.
The participants of the valedictory session were addressed by Misra, Banerjee, Krishna and Verma.
Addressing them the CMD Mishra asked the staff of the HEC to maintain integrity, honesty and transparency in transacting official work.
