Gurmukh wins vintage car rally yet again


Fifty two year old Gurmukh Singh Khokhar has won Vintage car rally for the twenty second consequitve times.

Singh,a car lover from Maoist infested Chaibasa in West Singhbhum,is a recipient of the Limca Book of Records 2011.

Singh has a brand new, er, old entry — a 1933 make Austin 7 car.With this car,he had won the annual Indian Oil vintage car rally trophy for 19 times in a row.

The vintage car owner, who deals in tyres for a living, received a certificate from the Limca Book of Records office in Gurgaon on Friday, bearing the signature of editor Vijaya Ghose. It stated he had been selected for his feat of winning the trophy for the most number of times and making his car run the maximum kilometers.
