This was the subject of concern at a high level meeting held inside the Raj Bhawan in Ranchi today.
The meeting was presided by Governor cum Chancellor Syed Ahmed. It was attended among others by his Principal Secretary NM Kulkarni,Officer on Special Duty(Justice)Nalin Kumar,Director(Higher Education)DN Ojha and Nilambar-Pitambar University’s Vice Chancellor AN Ojha.
During the meeting,Chancellor Ahmed expressed a view that there should be co-ordination among officers of water resources and revenue department and they must co-operate with each other to provide land to this University so that it can build its own college, office and campus.
Ojha however remains committed to the cause of the University saying despite meagure manpower and lack of its own campus,NPU is striving to invest more intellectual and financial resources in establishing its own campus for developing a need based excellent centre of “on and off campus” learning and disseminating knowledge in Palamau,a division infested with Naxalites in Jharkhand.
