Gossner college students mark Holi festival

Holi-2Students at Gossner college in Ranchi today marked the festival of colours, Holi,with a celebration on the College’s Front Square.

Organised by students,the College celebrations for the Holi festival aim to embrace and promote multiculturalism within the College.Over 100 members of the student body joined in the celebration that saw students throw coloured powder at each other while dancing to Indian music.

Gossner College,a body belonging to Christian minority, was established in 1971 by Founder Principal Rt. Reverend Dr. Nirmal Minz. Gossner College is affiliated to Ranchi University and is managed by Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church (GELC) of Chotanagpur and Assam.

Our mission is to provide the vista of university education to the deserving students coming from socially, economically backward and underprivileged communities of this region, particularly the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other Backward Communities. Preference is given to students from these communities. However, since the college is situated in the heart of Ranchi (Jharkhand, India), students of other communities and regions may also apply.
