Gorkhas celebrate Navratri.To mark the begining of the nine-night festival,Gorkha jawans of the Jharkhand Armed Police-I today gave a guard of honour to the Goddess.
The guard of honour was given by JAP-I jawans inside the Nepal House complex in Ranchi today.
Gorkhas,who are originally from Nepal,are devout Hindus.All of them celebrate Durga puja with pomp and show.The scene was no different this time.
Gorkha Girls performed retuals on the occasion of the first day of the Navratri when the Kalash Sthapna was made inside he Mandsap at Nepal House in Ranchi.
