Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das was involved in two programmes today.
The first programme was connected with his direct communication with the residents of Chotanagra under the state government’s scheme-San Sambad-at Chota Nagra village in Saranda forest area of the West Singhbhum district.
Addressing the people, the CM announced that Chota Nagra will be turned into a Block in West Singhbhum district. He reiterated that his government is involved in providing corruption free administration.”We will not tolerate any staff or officer indulging in corruption.Any one of them found involved in corruption,strict and strong action will be taken against him”,he said.
Das added that the state government is taking the problems of the people seriously.During the programme,he distributed funds to beneficiaries under Kanya dan scheme.
The CM pointed out that patrolling will be introduced for 24X7 along the National Highways in the Saranda forest areas.”For this 15 Innova Highway Patrol Mobile Vans are being provided”,he informed.
The second programme involves the CM directing the concerned officers to develop Maluti in Dumka…..
During the Jan Sambad programme,the villagers complained that the Banks were not opening accounts under the Jan Dhan Yojna.In response,the CM scolded the bank officers who were present there and said that it was the duty of the state government to serve the people gain financial connectivity with the banks.
Das also said that those people who will ensure that the village becomes free from liqour consumtion will be awarded.
Apart from senior officers,the programme was attended among others by BJP’s Singhbhum MP Laxman Gilwa,two MLAs Joba Manjhi and Geeta Koda.
