Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba has directed that LED Lights be installed and High Mast Lights(HMLs) repaired along the road side in the State Capital prior to the Durga Puja festival.
Gauba directed that the task to maintain HMLs be handed over to the Mobile companies so that they can make use of these HMLs as mobile towers and pay rent to Ranchi Municipal Corporation(RMC) every month.
These directives were made by the CS while reviewing the RMC’s works connected with the Harmu River,parks,their maintenance,LED Lights,High Mast Lights,Multi Storey Vehicle Parking,Bus stand in the making and roads being constructed by the state road construction department and the RMS and enlivening the dams in Ranchi today.
He directed the concerned officers to chalk out these works keeping in mind their maintenance as well.In this meeting,it was also decided to get DPRs prepared for enlivening 21 ponds in Ranchi by the end of September so that after the Chhath festival ends,the implementation work for their beautification can start.
The CS said that the DPRs concerning the construction and strengthening of 37 roads by the state road construction department were already prepared.
Now,the DPRs be sent for administrative clearance before September 15.Gauba said that the place along the road side be identified for construction of multi storey vehicle parking systems,said the CS adding that the road department should get DPR prepared for the construction of 20 other roads that were already handed over by the RMC to PWD.
More,Gauba directed the concerned officers to expedite the work related with beautification of water falls.
