GAIL (India) Limited has taken up “Kaushal, ” a program for ability improvement, at Nagaram town in Mamidikuduru mandal of East Godavari region.
A blast in its pipeline on June 27, 2014, asserted 22 lives, and from that point forward GAIL has been attempting to give the mending touch by taking up numerous activities. As a major aspect of it, ₹ 6 crore has been spent till date, under “Kaushal,” which is a piece of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
GAIL built up an expertise advancement organization — GAIL Institute of Skills — in the town in 2015. IL&FS Skills Development Corporation (ISDC), which works as a team with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), was restricted in for the reason.
Different employable declaration courses, for example, Auto-scoundrel, mechanical circuit repairman, pipe welding, instrumentation specialist and other aptitude situated ones are offered at the foundation. Of the 430 understudies who took the Auto-miscreant course, 70 % were given an open door for work in different organizations, including MNCs.
In 2017, GAIL developed another building and introduced cutting edge gear at a cost of ₹1 crore for offering courses, for example, modern circuit tester, pipe welding, instrumentation professional with an objective of employable testament program for 240 possibility for the money related year 2017-18.
