Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra has offered rebate in fees up to 50 per cent for Jharkhand and Bihar students in its offshore campus near Dubai in United Arab Emirates.
“In order to increase number of students from Bihar and Jharkhand in our offshore Dubai campus we will provide up to 50 per cent rebate in fee for engineering courses,” PK Upadhaya, academic coordinator from BIT, UAE campus has said.
There are many students in BIT UAE from Kerala and Tamil Nadu but very few from Bihar and Jharkhand, he said.
Upadhaya, who was in Ranchi as part of the counselling session, said, “On the first day more than 25 students approached me.”
Candidates who have scored more than 50 per cent marks in 12th standard in CBSE/State Board/ICSE Board are eligible to get admission in BIT UAE campus.
