Farmers to get compensation for hailstorm damages

Raghubar-Das-takes-oath-as-Jharkhand-CMJharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has announced that the state government would provide compensation for houses and crops damaged by hailstorm in Godda block a week ago.

Das visited some affected villages in the block and said that the compensation amount would vary between Rs 6,000 and Rs 70,000 depending on the damage and be given to owners of the houses for repairs.

He also announced that the compensation would be given to farmers for crop damage and told people that a horticulture facility spread over 111 hectares would come up in Godda.
