“Ensure that Ranchi gets electricity 24 hours every day”,said Chief Minister Raghuvar Das.
Das said this while addressing a meeting with officials of the state Energy Department in Ranchi today.”The department should prepare its plan,decide its priority and implement it in a time frame”,said Das.
Das reviewed the Energy Department’s works concerning ‘generation,transmission and distribution.’He sought information concerning shortage of electricity in ranchi during the past three days.
When told that lightening had affected the Grid at Hatia near Ranchi,Das said that the lightening was old.”You have to find way out to deal with it”,he said and added that though 14 years had passed,no work was done to safeguard the Grid from lightening.
‘Why this was not done”,he asked.
