
All ESI Hospitals and Dispensaries are going to be modernised in Jharkhand,said Bandaru Dattatreya,Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge).
Dattatreya,who met Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das in Ranchi today,said, the ECI hospital in Ranchi is going to be turned into a ‘Super -Speciality Hospital’.Right now,it is 50-bed hospital.’It will be made 200-Bed hospital”,said Dattatreya.
More,Dispensary at Koderma,Hazaribagh and Bokaro will be turned into 6-Bed hospitals.In a systemic manner,all 16 Dispensaries in the State(Jharkhand) will be turned into 6-Bed hospitals for employees and labourers”,said Dattatreya.
Even ECI Hospital at Adityapur(Jamshedpur) will be made 100-Bed hospital.”The Centre will ensure that there was no problem about the fund”,he said.
Jharkhand Labour Minister Raj Paliwal appealed to Dattatreya to include labourers of the mines and real in the organised sector.”Similarly,the Centre should make efforts to provide benefits of the labour laws to the Bidi workers and workers involved in stone crushers”,said Paliwal.
On the occasion,Raghubar Das claimed that Jharkhand has gained become the rank of number one state in the country by incorporating 92 percent workers of the unorganised sector into the domain of the Labour Laws.
The occasion was attended among others by the State’s Principal Secretary Mridula Sinha.
