Election Commission of India has launched a drive to correct the voter identity cards and link it up with Aadhaar cards.It is called-National Electrol Rolls Purification Authentication and Programme.
In an advertisement introduced by the EC,it is said that every voter identity card will be linked with his/her Aadhaar card.”Therefore,get Aadhaar card number,mobile number and e-mail ID introduced in the voter card”,states the add.
It further adds that the voter should appear at the booth with these facts and zerox copies on April 12,May 5,June 14,July 12 and August 9.
On these dates,special camps will be held at every booth.And as such all voters were asked to come and get the necessary changes introduced on these dates.
