Ranchi based Delhi Public School today celebrated the first National Handloom Day.
Incidentally,Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the first National Handloom Day at Chennai today.
As the PM Modi did so with an aim to make the handloom products popular among the people,the DPS Ranchi did the same.Its Principal and teachers conveyed to students the meaning and significance of handloom.
To launch the event inside the DPS Ranchi,its Principal Dr Ram Singh welcomed the guests and addressed students,telling them about Mahatama Gandhi and his efforts to popularize handloom products.
