Domestic Workers Union and National Domestic Workers Organisation today held their joint meeting in Ranchi today.
The two day meeting held was attended among others by leaders of these Unions including Domestic Workers Union’s president Renu Linda,Programme Officer,Lixus,Punam,George,Sushma,Asha and Praveen.
On the first day of the meeting held inside Premashraya,Club Road,the issues connected with the Organisation and Planning were discussed.
Their leader Sujit Biswas said that due to the old movement of domestic workers,the government has introduced social security scheme for them.’The need of the hour is to link them with the Organisation”,he said.
