Santosh Lal is dead.Lal,a friend of Team India captain MS Dhoni,was former Ranji player from Jharkhand.
He died today after being diagnosed from pancreatitis.Lal is credited to have helped Dhoni develop his famous ‘helicopter shot’.
Dhoni had helped him financially while he was being treated in New Delhi.
Lal’s body taken to Lady Hardinge hospital for autopsy is going to be flown to Ranchi.
