The dog adopted by Team India captain has become a star attraction for residents of Harmu in Ranchi,home to Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Scores of onlookers today stood outside Dhoni’s house to have a glimpse of Liya,the name given by Dhoni to his adopted dog.”How sweet.This dog is so fortunate”,quipped a fan of Dhoni.
Dhoni had adopted a dog from Hope and Animal Trust,Ranchi. A lover of animals, Dhoni named him ‘Liya’ on Thursday.
Presently the Indian team is at Zimbabwe and he is on a break.He also twitted that he would get his first bike repaired for use.It is also learnt that,though he is in Ranchi since a week he has not met the relatives of his friend Santosh Lal who died a few days back following a multiple organ failure.
