Gumla and Chaibasa,headquarter of West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand are Maoist infested.
In addition,these districts,each dominated by tribals,are in the border of Chattisgarh and Orissa.
Both Gumla and Chaibasa were inspected by DGP Rajiv Kumar.”The DGP Saheb inspected the police stations these districts and directed the police officers and SPs to strengthen the police organization and maintain law and order”,said a senior police officer.
