Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today observed that efforts must be made to make Ranchi gains the form of capital and no stone should be left unturned to develop infrstructure for development of Jamshedpur,Bokaro,Dhanbad,Dumka and Deoghar as well.

Das made this observation while presiding over a meeting on development of infrastructure in urban areas inside the Project Bhawan in Ranchi. He said that in the aftermath of widening of road, the electric poles, wires of removed cables and traffic jam or broken drains not only create problem for the common man but also increase the possibility of accidents.

“Therefore, wherever the beautification work is taken up,the concerned all departments such as Road Construction,Municipal Corporation,Traffic Police,Energy,BSNL,PHED,Land Revenue should look into the requirements by carrying a survey.

Then, after removing encroachment or acquiring the land, the connected services be identified and executed before starting the development work so that it does not appear that due to lack of coordination between these departments the work was carried half heartedly in the lane and mohalla and the people did not get the benefit of development”,the CM said directing the concerned officials to start this kind of holistic work in the state capital and ensure that all urban develoment bodies across the state followed it.

Das said that to remove encroachment from the main roads in the towns of the state, the officers must work with a sense of neutrality and fear. The people of the state want development quickly. As such, the government establishment will have to work with the expected speed,he said.

He directed the Ranchi Municipal Corporation to carry the garbage removal work between 8 and 12 from August 1.He also directed the RMC’s City Commissioner to set up ‘Rainbasera’ for the labourers coming from far off villages to Ranchi for work
