Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today ordered the concerned authorrties to permenently retire the accused in the Deoghar land scam.
Jharkhand Administrative Service Officer Mithilesh Kumar Jha was holding the post of Accountant when the scam surfaced.During investigation,Jha was found guilty in the case.
Dealing with the temple town of Maluti-which was displayed as the state’s tableau on the Independence Day function in New Delhi on January 26,Das directed the Art,Culture and Youth Affair Department to prepare a plan for its protection and development.Already the state government has Rs 22 crore fund approved by the 13th Finance Commission for protection of archeological sites and places in Jharkhand.
The Maluti tableau had earned appreciation across the country and secured second prize in the country on the Republic day.
