Departmental inquiry is to be initiated against two IAS officers of Jharkhand in connection with charges against them, a senior government official has said.
The Principal Secretary of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Raj Bhasha, S K Satpathy, has said that a departmental committee would be set up to probe the allegations against Sunil Kumar and Puja Singhal.
Kumar was facing charges of getting NTPC deputy general manager Rakesh Nandan beaten up by his security guards when the former was the Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh, Satpathy said.
Whereas Singhal was facing charges of financial irregularities in MGNREGA funds when she was the deputy commissioner of Chatra district.
