About 100 present and former cricketers under the banner of Bihar Players Association (BPA) today held demonstration in protest outside BCCI chief Jagmohan Dalmiya’s residence demanding full membership for the state.
The protesters also alleged ‘step motherly’ attitude by the cricket board.
The BPA led by Mritunjay Tiwary also threatened to “lock up” the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai and sit on strike if they were not given any immediate assurance after the protest.
Tiwary reportedly said, “For 14 years, there has been no cricket in Bihar after the end full membership. “There’s no future for Bihar cricketers, thousands of talents are nipped in the bud for lack of exposure.”
